Our Community Initiatives
The Food Project
The Food Project
-
The Food Project is an independent and unique all-resident volunteer service. It partners with Abundant Grace, Safeway and Second Harvest of Silicon Valley to provide donated food for the benefit of all Cañada Cove residents. Food is free and available daily in a "farmers market" style in our Clubhouse.
-
The Food Project has been generously sustained, directed and evolved by Cañada Cove resident Supie and her dedicated crew of volunteers. They work tirelessly every day to secure, transport, inspect, sort, store the food, and set up the "market", while overseeing food safety.
